How to access StoreFix AI after purchase
- Go to admin.shopify.com and log in with the Shopify account that owns or manages your store.
- If Shopify shows more than one store, choose the store you want StoreFix AI to review.
- Install StoreFix AI from the Shopify App Store listing. If it is already installed, open Shopify Admin, choose Apps, then choose StoreFix AI.
- In StoreFix AI, open Catalog QA. The scan runs against the Shopify store currently shown in your admin URL.
- Review the Catalog QA overview, then choose Run Report and review fixes. This creates the saved report where approved update controls are available.
- Open the saved report. Review the generated drafts before selecting any checkboxes.
- Select only the fields you approve, choose Update selected, review the summary, then choose Confirm and apply selected updates.
- If anything needs to be undone, return to the same saved report and use Undo in Applied updates.
Important store-matching rule
StoreFix AI can only scan and update the store where it is currently opened inside Shopify Admin. If the app says the selected job targets a different store, go to Shopify Admin for that target store, open Apps, then open StoreFix AI from there.
CSV Scanner Requirements
- Use a Shopify product CSV export.
- Keep the header row intact.
- Common supported columns include Handle, Title, Body (HTML), Vendor, Product Category, Type, Tags, Shopify search listing title and description fields, Image Src, and Image Alt Text.
- The scanner runs locally in your browser and does not upload the CSV.
Common Issues
- If no issues appear, confirm the CSV has product rows under the header row.
- If image issues are missing, confirm the CSV includes Image Src and Image Alt Text columns.
- If search listing issues are missing, confirm the CSV includes Shopify search listing title and description columns.
- If the page feels slow, use the display filter to show the top 50 issues.
- If report export is blank, ensure your browser allows file downloads for local pages and check popup/download blockers.
Report update troubleshooting
If a saved report, approved update, or undo does not work as expected, use the StoreFix AI troubleshooting checklist. For normal report review, use the report review guide to separate StoreFix can fix fields, needs-input fields, and review-only warnings before contacting support.
Report and Update-Safety Workflow
- StoreFix AI recommendations remain reviewable before write actions.
- Approved writes are limited to selected product fields.
- Current product values are saved before approved updates so applied changes can be undone from the report.
- Reports can be shared with public report links or exported as CSV where available.
- No ranking, revenue, conversion, or traffic outcome is guaranteed.

Support Request Checklist
Include your browser name, approximate product count, and the issue count shown in the report. Do not send private customer data unless explicitly requested through a secure support channel. For launch validation, use the first customer validation packet, the install conversion checklist, and the first scan checklist. Include whether you installed from the public Shopify App Store listing, opened StoreFix AI from Shopify Admin Apps, reached the saved report page, approved one selected field, confirmed undo, and captured any merchant question or willingness-to-pay signal.
If the request involves a blocked install, failed report, failed approved update, media retry, or undo problem, use the support escalation guide before asking the merchant to approve more changes.
