Get started with StoreFix AI
This guide explains exactly how to open StoreFix AI after purchase, scan the correct Shopify store, run a report, review recommended fixes, and approve updates. StoreFix AI reviews the Shopify store where the app is opened inside Shopify Admin.
Quick path
- Go to admin.shopify.com.
- Select your Shopify store.
- Open Apps, then choose StoreFix AI.
- Open Catalog QA.
- Choose Run Report and review fixes.
- Open the saved report and choose only the updates you want StoreFix AI to apply.
Release verification
If you are testing StoreFix AI before broader merchant use, follow the release verification checklist. It covers public listing install/open, scan, saved report, one approved update, rescan comparison, undo, public resource links, support links, and the first-10 Founding-plan billing gate.
First merchant scan
If this is your first real catalog run, use the first scan checklist. It explains what to capture before approving changes and why the first run should test one selected update plus undo before any batch approval.
For first-10 customer validation, use the first customer validation packet to capture install evidence, report clarity, support questions, and willingness-to-pay notes in the same run.
Saved report review
After creating a saved report, use the report review guide to understand filters, approval-ready fields, review-only warnings, support packets, and saved undo evidence.
Current launch offer
The first 10 StoreFix AI customers join the Founding plan at $5/month (Shopify managed pricing) while the app validates the install, scan, report, approved update, rescan, and undo workflow. The later public monthly tiers ($19/$39/$79) remain paused until those first customer workflows and support expectations are proven.
1. Open Shopify Admin
- Go to admin.shopify.com.
- Log in with the Shopify account that owns or manages your store.
- If Shopify shows multiple stores, select the store you want StoreFix AI to scan.
2. Install or open StoreFix AI
- If StoreFix AI is not installed, install it from the Shopify App Store listing.
- If it is already installed, open Shopify Admin, choose Apps, then choose StoreFix AI.
- Open Catalog QA inside StoreFix AI.
3. Review the scan
- Confirm the screen says it is scanning the correct store.
- Review product description, search listing field, and image alt text findings.
- The Catalog QA overview does not edit products.
4. Run a report
- Choose Run Report and review fixes.
- Open the saved report from the confirmation link or the latest saved report link.
- Review the generated drafts before approving any field. If a finding is labeled review-only or needs manual input, use it as a QA prompt instead of a one-click update.
5. Approve selected updates
- Check only the fields you want StoreFix AI to update.
- Unchecked fields are left unchanged.
- Choose Update selected to review the product and field count.
- Choose Confirm and apply selected updates only after the review summary matches your intent.
- StoreFix AI saves the current product values before updating Shopify so the applied update can be undone from the report.
6. Undo if needed
- Return to the same saved report.
- Find Applied updates.
- Select the applied update you want to restore, then choose Undo.
If the wrong store appears
Go back to admin.shopify.com, select the correct store, then open Apps and choose StoreFix AI again. The app can only scan and update the store currently open in Shopify Admin.
If an update fails
- Confirm you are in the correct Shopify store.
- Try applying one field first.
- If image alt text fails, wait a few minutes and retry because Shopify may still be processing media.
- Open the troubleshooting checklist, then contact support with the report ID, product title, selected field, applied-update status, and screenshot if the issue repeats.
