StoreFix AI release verification
Use this checklist before treating StoreFix AI as production-ready for broader merchant use. The product is live, but these checks require a real Shopify Admin session and human confirmation.
Current status: Needs user verification
Verification target
Confirm the public listing, embedded app, saved-report workflow, approved write, rescan movement, undo, support links, and billing gate all behave correctly from a merchant/operator point of view.
Use a test product or dev-store product for the approved write. Do not edit a real customer product unless that merchant has explicitly approved the exact field.
1. Public listing and install/open
- Open the Shopify App Store listing.
- Confirm the app name is StoreFix AI and the developer is FocusBloom Studio LLC.
- Click Install or Open, then select the target Shopify store.
- Confirm Shopify Admin opens StoreFix AI without an error page.
Capture: listing screenshot, install/open button state, and embedded app first screen.
2. Catalog scan and saved report
- Confirm Catalog QA shows the correct Shopify store domain.
- Run or refresh the scan.
- Confirm the screen says the scan does not edit products.
- Use filters: All products, Issues found, High priority, Needs review, Looks good.
- Click Run Report and review fixes, then open the saved report.
Capture: store domain, product count, score, issue cards, filters, saved report ID.
3. Approve one safe field
- Use a test product with a safe reversible field, preferably Product description.
- On the saved report, select only one field for one product.
- Confirm the review panel shows the field count and product count before applying.
- Click Update selected and confirm the product/field count.
- Click Confirm and apply selected updates.
- Confirm Applied updates shows the update as applied.
Capture: selected checkbox, confirmation summary, success message, Applied updates status, and Shopify product field after update.
4. Rescan and compare
- Use the Post-write rescan link to return to Catalog QA.
- Save a new report after the approved update.
- Open the new report and verify Before/after score and Report comparison appear.
- Confirm improved/regressed product counts make sense for the one-field change.
Capture: previous report ID, new report ID, score movement, and comparison panel.
5. Undo
- Return to the report where the applied update appears.
- Select the applied update and click Undo.
- Confirm the applied update status changes to rolled_back.
- Confirm Shopify product data returns to its prior value.
Capture: Undo button, rolled_back status, and restored Shopify product field.
6. Support, links, and billing gate
- Open the support triage packet on the saved report and confirm it includes report ID, shop, status, applied-update counts, product title prompt, selected field prompt, latest message, and screenshot prompt.
- Open Support, Privacy, Terms, Get started, First customer packet, Demo, and Sample report.
- Open Billing inside the embedded app and confirm the Founding-plan entitlement is clear for the first 10 customers.
- Confirm Support, Get started, and Troubleshooting all list the same support email and request the same report ID, store domain, product title, selected field, and screenshot evidence.
Capture: support packet, each public page loaded, and Billing first-10 Founding-plan message.
7. Public resource link audit
- From the homepage, open the Shopify App Store listing, customer demo, get-started guide, sample report, support, privacy, terms, troubleshooting, and launch status links.
- From Support, open Get started, Troubleshooting, Sample report, Privacy, and the Shopify App Store listing.
- From Get started, open Release verification, Troubleshooting, Shopify Admin, and the Shopify App Store listing.
- Open the competitor refresh and confirm the top risks still support the report-first StoreFix positioning.
- From Demo, confirm the 60-90 second customer video loads and the Shopify App Store install link opens in a new tab.
- From the CSV scanner, run the small sample CSV and confirm downloads appear only after a scan result exists.
Capture: URL loaded, page title, any console error, and whether the link opens the expected destination.
Stop conditions
- The app opens the wrong Shopify store or does not show the current store domain.
- A scan or saved report claims it edited products before approval.
- Confirm and apply selected updates changes more than the selected product/field.
- No applied update appears after an approved write.
- Undo fails or does not restore the original value.
- Billing offers the later $19/$39/$79 subscriptions before the first 10 Founding customers are complete.
What to send back
Reply with pass/fail for steps 1 through 7, the report IDs, the product title used for the write test, and any screenshot notes. If a step fails, include the exact text shown in Shopify and where you were in the flow.
Also note whether the walkthrough produced a revenue-validation signal: successful App Store install/open, a saved report created, one selected field applied and undone, support contact clarity, or a merchant question that should change onboarding copy.
